CCC finishes in Top 5 of August Pepsi Refresh Project
CCC moved up the charts to the Top 5 vying for $250,000 in national competition
We've been overwhelmed with support from our many friends and supporters throughout Abilene and the world who worked hard this past month to vote and solicit votes for us in the Pepsi Refresh Project! We competed for $250,000 moving up from 456th place to 5th place during the month. We had mass text votes from throughout the community-- HSU, ACU, McMurry, ballgames, events, club meetings, everywhere! We cannot say "thank you" enough!
Thanks especially to our champions and partners who helped organize mass texts, get us on the radio and television and posted flyers and handed out cards and spread the word! Thanks to our local churches and universities who voted during your gatherings, too! (And to IN-Focus Digital for the courtesy photo above!)
